To facilitate immediate credibility, applicants are required to have achieved an advanced degree(s) in urban planning, architecture, or related field appropriate to the position and have 10-15 years of professional experience. A demonstrative record of success with all aspects of the urban fabric including; large scale development/redevelopment, transportation, health services, housing, environment, safety, and commercial enterprise is desired. Presentation and communications skills necessary to lead, educate, collaborate, and close the deal are critical. A full complement of tools are in place including; form based codes, development codes, a healthy infrastructure planning team, and an open and supportive board and administration.
